The most preferred shades for creating smoky eyes are grays, browns & black tones, which make the eyes stand out. Shimmering eye shadow also helps to create a more glamorous look. Take two of your favourite shades in a lighter & darker tone & begin by applying the lighter shade across the eyelid beginning at the inner eye & working half way across. Apply the darker shade to the outer edge of the eyelid & blend towards the centre until both shades blend evenly in the middle. Next, using an angled powder brush, apply the darker tone to the eye socket crease working from the very outer edge in a C shape & then along the lower lash line. Now choose a black or brown eye liner & smudge along the upper & lower lash line. Follow with 2 or 3 coats of mascara & you'll have achieved a fabulous, smokin' hot look!
