To create an illusion of thicker lashes, apply a dark shade of eye liner to the lash line. This instantly makes the eye lashes look thicker & more volumised from the root. You can also subtly extend the line at the outer corners of the eye to make the lashes appear longer.
The next step is to curl your lashes with an eye lash curler. Flat lashes will appear even shorter so the tip is to curl them to create an angle with bounce & volume. Work gently with your lashes & don't tug or pull. We don't want to lose what we've already got to work with!
At this stage you can apply false lashes if required. These are available in a wide variety of styles, thickness & volume to suit the occasion. They are inexpensive & easy to apply & remove. For best results, apply the adhesive to the lash & wait 10-20 seconds before positioning on the lash line. Using tweezers or an orange stick is helpful for accurate positioning.
